Meet Xaysanah, a 35-year-old artistic manager from the Parisian suburbs. His path from breakdancing to artist management shows how exploring culture fuels creativity and forms long lasting relationships.
"I am a breakdancer, I started to dance at 16 years old. I used to battle as a B-boy and practice with friends. Before becoming a dancer I loved to draw, paint and sculpt. I still do that in my free time.”
Today, Xaysanah manages a dancer and dance company, collaborating with different artists to craft mesmerizing shows and videos.
Xaysanah feels most at home with his family. A place he refers to as a safe space where he can share good memories and beautiful moments with his wife and daughter. Outside of home, the charismatic dancer is most comfortable around his friends - or so called entourage.
“My second home is my entourage. I try to create my own entourage and meet people who inspire me or who are sometimes very different from me.”
The input received from friends and family is to Xaysanah what creates and forms his culture - but he also believes that culture is to be shared.
"Culture means for me, to be open minded. Each person has their own culture but the most important is that this culture has to be shared with all of us"
